Albany mayor casts early vote for primary election

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan took advantage of early voting in Albany. The mayor voted at the County Board of Elections on South Pearl Street Monday afternoon.

Sheehan is running for re-election against democratic challenger Valerie Faust, who is scheduled to vote on Wednesday.

The winner will face off against republican challenger Alicia Purdy in November.
