10/13 Storm Tracker Forecast: Brighter and drier for Sunday

Good Saturday evening, it's going to be a chilly one! Temperatures falling into the upper 20's in outlying areas, while right in Albany we will fall into the upper 30's. Frost advisories have been posted as we expect those temperatures to reach frost levels through the overnight into early Sunday morning.

It was a wet start to your Saturday, we will remain dry through Sunday afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds through the afternoon as well as high pressure continues to hold on for us to end the weekend. However, high pressure will move off the coast to start the work week and we will start off on a wet note for Monday.

That will be in association with a complex frontal system that will warm us up slightly for Monday afternoon, but a strong cold front will push through Monday evening which will give us a reinforcing shot of cooler air for the middle of the week. Holding temperatures back into the upper 40's and low 50's with lake effect rain/snow showers through Wednesday especially north and west of Albany into the mountains.

Have a fantastic Sunday!

Rob
