The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Kevin Appleby:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to taper heading into Sunday morning. The severe thunderstorm watch has expired for all of the Capital Region.

Once we get through the storms, some leftover showers will continue into the overnight hours. Some breaks in the clouds are expected by the morning with low temperatures mostly dropping into the 60s.

Sunday will feature increasing sunshine, but not everyone will be dry at all times. Some pop-up showers are possible in the morning and early afternoon.

High temperatures will reach the upper 70s and lower 80s. Monday will start off nice, and on the cooler side. Clouds will be on the increase ahead of more rain and thunder chances overnight Monday.

Tuesday will continue with this theme, with cooler conditions and scattered showers and storms. Things should calm down by Tuesday night.

High pressure will build for Wednesday, but a stray shower chance remains possible in what will otherwise be a pretty nice day. Some more storm chances are possible by the end of the upcoming work week.
