The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
We did it! After an extended rainy stretch, we’ve finally cleared out. It’s nice when the weather cooperates for the weekend, isn’t it? High pressure in place today leading to mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures warm quickly to around 70 degrees for an afternoon high in the Capital District. Even in the hills & mountains where it’s cooler, it’s still in the mid to upper 60’s.

Tonight, mostly clear. There’s a chance for some very patchy fog, but don’t expect quite as much as was around this morning. Temperatures range from upper 30’s in the higher terrain to mid 40’s in the valleys.

We actually day dry and quiet for a couple days – it’s not until these systems over the central portion of the country converge and make their way to the East Coast on Tuesday that we’ve got a chance for rain – even then, with it passing towards our south, there’s only a low end chance for showers.

Between now and then, low 70’s for highs with pleasantly mild nights. With the clouds and shower chance Tuesday, it does look a little cooler- highs in the mid to upper 60’s.

Bright & sunny Wednesday and Thursday. Temps climb through the end of the week – almost 80 degrees by Friday! Enjoy the dry time!
