The Forecast with not one but two Easter Bunnies… to love those ears…..

It turned out to be a decent day…..65-70, bit breezy. Showers have been most numerous to the north-just a slight chance of a shower here tonight. On Saturday, a Cold front drops south with some big changes. This will have a band of rain, and then colder air behind it with temperatures dropping into the 40s. There is even the chance later in the afternoon, the higher spots of the Catskills/Berkshires/Green Mountains with have a mix with wet snow.

Latest Surface Maps…Breezy/mild air today….Two cold front slowly sagging south from the Great Lakes…Showers/light rain along this front. Colder air moves in Sat. afternoon/evening…High spots some brief mixing. By Sunday-Chilly and windy weather moves in, but mostly dry.

Tough day if you have allergies to tree pollen…..

Allergy Report….TOUGH Day today-Spike in the Tree Pollen….it will lower over the weekend with showers on Saturday and chilly weather Sunday…..Then go back up on Monday.

The Next 48 Hours……TONIGHT: M.Cloudy/Mild, Few Showers north. SATURDAY: Cloudy/Showers….turning cooler in the afternoon….Possible wet snow mixing in higher spots later in the day. SUNDAY-Easter: M.Cloudy-Windy/Chilly….Mostly dry. Higher spots some snow flurries are possible.

Easter Sunday Forecast….Mainly dry-but winds will gust from the NW up to 30mph…and it will be very chilly for this time of year. Flurries likely in the Adirondacks and Vermont Mountains…..possibly into the Berkshires/Catskills.

7 and 10 Day Forecast. Get ready…a COLD Weather pattern on the way. Rain arrives Saturday with colder air for the afternoon…A windy/Chilly for Easter Sunday….mostly cloudy but mostly dry. A break for Monday-then a Coastal Storm moves in Monday night/Tuesday. It may be cold enough in the higher elevations for some wet snow….late next week, it gets a lot better again.
