Spring Arrives 5:58pm….Unfortunately it’s only on the calendar.
High Pressure gave us the awesome day today is moving eastward.
A couple of storms to our west will move east with some showers arriving tomorrow…a bit of wet snow mixed in for the higher elevations.
A more significant storm intensifies along the Mid Atlantic Coast Thursday night and tracks to near Boston Friday.
This storm will produce heavier precipitation…and as cold air gets pulled in, the higher elevations will change to heavy wet snow. Even in the Hudson Valley some wet snow will be likely….heaviest totals above 1500ft…and across the Adirondacks. A very tight gradient from not much snow to over 8″.
The Wet Snow tapers off Friday mid day, but will continue into Saturday Morning for the Adirondacks and Mts of Vermont….there could even be some upslope snows picking up east of the Hudson River Friday afternoon and night for the Taconics/Berkshires and Southern Green Mountains.
Behind the storm, left over flurries Saturday morning…then VERY windy weather will be likely..winds gusting to 45mph.
At least Sunday looks like back to some nice Spring weather…any snow will be melting fast.
Tonight is the Full Moon for Mqarch….Full Corn-Worm or Sap Moon
This is the 3rd Super moon in a roww…Slightly brighter and bigger.
