A flash flood watch has been extended for the region through Wednesday night, especially for some of the hilltowns in the Heldebergs, the Catskills, and the Schoharie valley, where some locations have reported more than 6” of rain just yesterday alone.
More scattered showers are on tap for us today, with the chance of few thunderstorms this afternoon. We may get a few short dry breaks here and there today, but no widespread clearing is expected.
Winds remain gusty today from the south 10-20 mph with some higher gusts in elevated regions. Our humidity also stays high until at least Thursday, leaving us incredibly muggy, even overnight.
Have a great day!
