Washington, Saratoga and Herkimer counties got slammed Sunday PM with damaging winds, hail and soaking downpours. We’ll find more severe storms possible as the cold front pushes east (especially between 12-5 PM).
We’re off to a stormy start for your Monday with pockets of soaking downpours and some thunderstorms. We’ll find some sunshine at times this afternoon but any sun will fuel afternoon/evening storms with another round of severe weather possible. Our main threats will be soaking downpours, damaging winds and more hail. We’ll be quite warm & muggy ahead of the cold front but noticeable changes will be here Tuesday & Wednesday.
Stay weather aware this afternoon/evening. With so many outdoor baseball & softball practices-coaches, have a plan B to get inside quickly and stay ahead of the storms with your StormTracker team.
We’ll dry overnight and cool to the lower 50s before some sun & clouds Tuesday with a high in the mid 60s. We’ll keep it sunny and dry Wednesday with highs warming into the lower 70s.
Showers & thunderstorms can’t be ruled out Thursday with more rain late Friday. This weekend could feature some showers & t-storms with days in the 70s.
