Latest Forecast Update from Meteorologist Rob Lindenmuth:
Another warm afternoon today with temperatures topping out in the upper 60’s and low 70’s for most… A few showers popped during the afternoon and are on going through this early evening which is bringing cooler conditions for some. An area of low pressure to our south will keep the southeasterly flow through the first half of tonight before turning more westerly late as that low begins to pull away.
There are flood warning still on going and will continue to be an issue through Tuesday, all of these warning are north of Albany, the main concern being the Schroon River at Riverbank where moderate flooding is on going. The Hudson River at Fort Edward, Hadley and at North Creek are other areas of concern where minor flooding is occurring.
Mostly dry day for Monday with the threat for showers increasing into the evening hours, especially south and east of Albany.
We dry out for Tuesday before a cold front drops south Tuesday night into Wednesday morning with showers and dropping temperatures for Wednesday afternoon. Progressively cooler as we approach next weekend with highs expected to drop back into the upper 50’s to near 60.
Have a great week!
