TGIF! Happy Friday and get ready for a warm-up. We’re starting mild in the 50s & 60s for many and we’ll keep warming to the lower 70s! We have a chance for some early sun before clouds quickly takeover and most of the day will be dry with only a pop-up shower by 5-6PM.
The steadier, heavy rain and thunderstorms will roll through late tonight after 8-9PM and some of those downpours will cause concerns for flash flooding. We’ll also see some heavy rain through early Saturday morning. Many of our area rivers and creeks are running high so with a possible 1-2″ worth of rain by Saturday afternoon-it can cause those rivers to continue to rise.
Saturday morning will be the wettest part of the day with heavy pockets of rain & t-storms. We’ll find time to dry out in the afternoon//evening with the showers becoming more scattered and hit or miss through your Easter Sunday. You may want to choose the rainboots for the Easter egg hunts in backyards instead of dress shoes but I think we’ll be able to have a drier Easter Sunday with only a few showers? Our warmer days will continue through the weekend and into early next week!
