Latest Storm Tracker Forecast from Meteorologists Steve Caporizzo, Tim Drawbridge, and Rob Lindenmuth:
A much warmer and drier afternoon is expected for the start of the weekend as a stalled out front moves to our north as a warm front. That will bring the potential for a few scattered showers mainly north and west of Albany, however, that warm front will allow temperatures to spike into the low to mid 60’s!
Going through Saturday an area of low pressure will remain to our north and west which would keep us mostly dry and also allow for a few breaks of sunshine through the afternoon as well.
But we don’t stay try for long, as an area of low pressure rides along the stalled out boundary it will bring a renewed push of moisture Saturday night into Sunday morning. That will be followed by a cold front which will do nothing but drop our temperatures throughout Sunday afternoon.
It will become much cooler after an early day high of 50 on Sunday, some of us may even end as a quick burst of some snow late Sunday afternoon after the cold front passes. Cooler but brighter weather will be ours for Monday through Wednesday but temperatures will moderate as well!
Have a great weekend!
