Latest forecast Update from Meteorologist Rob Lindenmuth:
The wintry mess from this morning is out of here… We lucked out and ended up remaining mostly dry but overcast through the afternoon. However, going through tonight we will see a few scattered showers as a cold front pushes through.
On the back side of this frontal boundary we will see winds begin to gust once again through Monday afternoon as high as 40 mph out of the west. The good news is, this front isn’t going to change our temperatures too drastically. By Tuesday we will see the effects of the front as highs only reach the mid to upper 30’s, but for Monday, we all see temperatures in the upper 30’s and low 40’s once again.
Now, colder air will be working in aloft, so don’t be surprised if you see a few flurries in the air through the afternoon and evening, otherwise we will see some sunshine through Monday.
We get a taste of spring coming as we head into the middle to end of the work week as temperatures rise into the 50’s to near 60 by Friday. However, all good things come to an end and this is no exception, we may hear a few rumbles of thunder Friday afternoon as a cold front pushes through… Making our temperatures much cooler as we head into St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Winter is not giving up without a fight this year! Have a great week!
