1/3/19: AM Snow (Mainly North of Albany) and in Higher Elevation…Drier & Windy Day

Weather Blog

After starting with a fresh 1″ or 2″ for folks north of Albany and in higher elevations (mountainous areas)-we’ll find a drier and windy day. Temperatures will warm to the lower 40s with some chances for late day sunshine to mix in?

Tonight we’ll fall back into the upper 20s with partly cloudy skies…setting us up for more clearing tomorrow! Friday will be fantastic with lots of sun, 40s & dry time!

The weekend is looking drier and drier…we’ll be dodging the rain Saturday with that system staying south and east of Albany. We’ll likely get the clouds off that system but the rain will only get as close to home as scooting by Kingston. The NEXT system that we’ll be tracking will be here Monday night with snow & mixing likely through Tuesday. After the next few days with 40s as day highs…30s take over next week!
