Heavy rain since overnight and into early this morning is causing concerns for flooding and strong damaging winds.
We’re clearing the strong line of storms by 7-8AM but flooding will continue to be a threat today & through the next few days. Spotty rain showers can be expected through the day and with colder air moving in later today-we could see some mixing and snow showers in higher elevation.
Winds will pick up this afternoon/evening through the overnight with potenially strong gusts near 50mph.
We’ll get to dry Tuesday & Wednesday but some flooding threats for the Schroon River & Mettawee River through the midweek.
We’ll be back to an unsettled pattern for the end of the week and upcoming weekend…
