Latest Forecast From Meteorologist Rob Lindenmuth:
Breezy winds will persist as we go through the night and into the start of Sunday, the good news is sunshine will continue to round out the weekend and we will warm into the low 50’s.
High pressure to our west will push in overnight tonight and hold through Sunday afternoon. That means more sunshine and warmer temperatures as well.
Highs on Sunday will mainly be in the upper 40’s and low 50’s for most, not a bad early spring afternoon!
However, the area of low pressure in the west will slowly move in our direction which will help to increase the cloud cover as we head later into Sunday afternoon and evening. At the same time a weak cold front will be pushing south from central Canada, that will suppress the moisture to the south but also bring some more cold air for us into the start of next week.
We could wake up to a quick hitting flurry Monday morning with the passage of that boundary, but Canadian high pressure will be quick to build in and will provide more sunshine through the first half of the work week.
Our next system will begin to develop and become quite strong as we progress through the middle of the week, so while we are basking in sunshine and seasonable temperatures areas out west will likely be dealing with more rounds of severe weather. By the end of the week our temperatures are climbing into the 60’s but we will lose the bright sunshine and will even see a few showers by Friday and Saturday.
Have a great Sunday!
