TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - On Sunday, hundreds walked the streets of Downtown Troy for the 41st Annual Troy Victorian Stroll. This year, organizers added a very special celebration… the bicentennial of the poem ‘Twas the night before Christmas, published in the Troy Sentinel in 1823. And many friends and families strolled through the rain to get a feel of the holiday season.

The town of Halfmoon kicked off the holiday season with their Jingle Bell Bash on December 2.

A boil water advisory remains in effect until further notice in Whitehall due to a water main break on Friday.

A Middleburgh man has been arrested following a burglary investigation, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office. Patrick Corbett, 43, is facing multiple charges.

That’s why dozens of volunteers and military personnel could hop on the Amtrak with Santa to help deliver toys and other necessities to children in need in five cities… between Rensselaer and Binghamton.
