BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. (NEWS10) – U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-Schuylerville, visited Ballston Spa on Monday to host a roundtable event open to the public.
The event centered around mental health issues for police officers, but Stefanik also spoke on the recent rejection of funds to aid upstate New York victims of last Halloween’s flooding and storm. The congresswoman also discussed concerns over recent bail reform, eliminating the requirement for cash bail for nonviolent offenders in many cases.
