YouTube to end ads targeted at children

(NEWS10) – Youtube officials are finalizing plans to end “targeted” advertisements on videos kids are likely to watch.

The video service has been under fire recently because the targeted ads requires collecting data on children. Doing so is against FTC regulations. According to Bloomberg.com, the move could cost Youtube $50 million a year.
