Youth Summit educates students on school safety, mental health

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Nearly 700 students across the Capital Region learned about healthy decision making and keeping their schools safe.

The Northeastern Community Action partnership hosted its 2nd annual Youth Summit on substance abuse and other issues facing students in schools. The summit was held at the Albany Capital Center Monday morning.

Speakers presented a wide variety of topics ranging from distracted driving, mental health concerns, substance abuse and gun safety.
