Woman beaten in laundromat robbery


ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – This morning at around 9 a.m. a black man walked into a laundromat on Quail Street near Domino’s and reportedly attempted to rob a woman.

Police say the man hit the woman with his fist multiple times in the head causing blood everywhere and lacerations to her face.

The woman was taking to Albany Medical where she is being treated with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the incident and say the suspect is on the loose.

The suspect is described as a black man, 25-years-old, 6 foot 2 inches, wearing tan pants. If anyone has any information call the Albany Police Department at 518-889-9446.
