It’s called the “Mental Health Nature Inspiration Project,“ an opportunity for veterans to support other veterans with art.
On Friday, 16 pieces of nature-inspired art created by veterans from all eras were on display at the Stratton VA.
Early April, they’ll be delivered to the VA’s mental health unit to provide a nurturing environment for the veterans staying there.
More than 70 submissions were received, before the final 16 pieces of work were selected.
