TROY, N.Y (NEWS10)- Members of the Troy Police and fire departments were sent to a reported stabbing near the area of Hoosick Street and 8th Street, Wednesday afternoon. Two people were treated for stab wounds after the alleged attack, which happened around 6:30 p.m.

Early investigations showed that the individuals involved knew each other, and by 7 p.m., the incident had been contained. An investigation by detectives and patrol officers will be conducted to determine further information.
