ALBANY, N.Y. – The final man involved in the death of a local man has been sentenced.
18-year-old Jaushi’ir Weaver, 18, has been sentenced to 22 years to life in state prison for the 2015 Lark Street homicide.
He was previously found guilty of 2nd degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of Courtney Yates. He was killed after a bullet struck him in the head.
Police also arrested Mark Bowman and Rashad Quintyne in connection with the homicide. They were sentenced for their roles.What others are clicking on:
