NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Local scientists at General Electric are working to make airplanes more sustainable. The company’s Hybrid Electric Flight Lab in Niskayuna is developing fuel alternatives and more efficient engines.
GE is also working with NASA to develop a hybrid electric propulsion system, which researchers hope can be used in the next decade.
