Symposium held to discuss opioid epidemic in NY

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Local judges, attorneys, and doctors met on Thursday to find better ways to combat the opioid epidemic in New York.

Two panel discussions were held during a symposium at Albany Law School.

The first focused on alternatives to prison and the other focused on recovery and treatment plans.

This is the 12th years the symposium has been held.
