Students share stories of living with Epilepsy on Purple Day

Meet Whitney, Sammy, Charlotte, and Natalie.

These four Latham Ridge Elementary School students are living with Epilepsy. Wanting to spread awareness and educate their peers, they organized a school-wide assembly on Purple Day.

One-by-one, they shared their personal experience with Epilepsy while their classmates supported them in a sea of purple.

The four began friends through the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York, which they have been working with the past month to make Purple Day a success at their school.
