DUANESBURG, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A 73-year-old driver was ticketed after crashing into a Valero gas station in Duanesburg Friday.

The Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office said the driver meant to press the brake pedal when they stepped on the gas and crashed into the gas station. It happened around 9:45 a.m. on Duanesburg Road.

The driver declined medical attention. A customer was struck by the vehicle and sustained a small laceration to his leg and declined medical attention. A trapped employee was evaluated by EMS but was not injured.
