SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Schenectady police are investigating a shooting on State Street Monday night. Police said a woman was shot in the chest.

The shooting took place near the Z Deli between Steuben and Eagle Streets. The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center. Her condition is not currently known.

Police had not identified any suspects as of Monday night. The investigation is ongoing.
