SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation (DSIC) will hold a virtual ceremony from the Schenectady Armory Center to unveil 53 new banners honoring Schenectady County veterans and active duty service members. This is part of its 2021 Hometown Heroes Banner Program.

Banners will be displayed on light poles in Downtown Schenectady through Veterans Day in November.

The banner unveiling will happen Friday, June 4 at 11 a.m. on the DSIC Facebook page.
