SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Officials lifted the boil water advisory in Saratoga Springs on Saturday afternoon. According to the New York State Department of Health (DOH):

Public health update: The boil water order has been lifted. The situation has been resolved, and satisfactory total coliform bacteria sample results have been received by this office.

Please call the New York State Department of Health Glens Falls District Office if you have any questions: (518) 793-3893.

City residents can resume their regular daily water usage routines. DOH reportedly gave the all-clear just before 4 p.m. after receiving two satisfactory water samples.

“This citywide restriction has created obstacles for many residents. We are looking forward to enjoying the busy holiday weekend with the good news of the advisory being lifted. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused residents,” said Anthony Scirocco, Commissioner of the Saratoga Springs Department of Public Works.
