ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Despite the frigid temperatures in the Capital Region on Saturday, hundreds of people laced up their sneakers and stripped down to their skivvies for the 12th annual Santa Speedo Sprint in Albany.

The race started on lark and ended at Madison Ave.

The event benefits the Albany Damien Center and the HIV/AIDS program at Albany Medical Center.

Over the years, some $108,000 has been raised.

This year, the Lark Street Bid simultaneously held their first ever Taste of Lark: Chili and Chowder Edition.
