Report: 2019 second hottest year on record

(NEWS10) — 2019 was Earth’s second hottest year on record.

Scientists at NASA and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration making the announcement in their annual Global Climate Assessment.

The year that holds the top spot for all time high temps is 2016.

Although, according to “NOAA,” the average temperature last year was 1.7 degrees Fahrenheit above the 20th century average.
