TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Troy Night Out is coming to the month of May! Residents can enjoy an evening of shopping, dining, arts and culture. The night out takes place on the last Friday of every month
in Downtown Troy from 5-9 p.m.

This last Friday of the month looks a bit different with façade and architectural changes in preparation for the filming of HBO’s “The Gilded Age,” but it’s the same joyful monthly energy, including the cumulation of AAPI (Asian-American Pacific Islander) Heritage Month.  

Gilded Age costumes are not required during Troy Night Out, however salon:troy kicks off the night with Gilded Age Girls in their windows beginning at 7 p.m. The live models will feature a demo of updos from the era. Night Out goers can enter to win a gift basket filled with Oribe hair products as well.

The Whiskey Pickle serves a selection of whiskey that rivals any collection. Have a taste of their Old Fashioned, a popular drink during the 1880’s. Nighthawks is open and ready to serve a selection of in-season vegetables and ingredients at their farm-to-table restaurant and bar.

Attendees are able to support virtually or stroll throughout the streets and businesses.

To take advantage of the night, residents can call in for to-go orders, shop for items with curbside pick-up and watch live performances through Facebook.
