TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office showed their appreciation for dispatchers with a barbeque on Wednesday. Dispatcher Appreciation Week runs from now until Saturday.
Officials said the event was to boost morale and show appreciation for the unsung heroes of the department. They plan to do it again next year.
