TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Construction has begun on an affordable housing unit in Troy. Nearly 150 apartments and retail space is being built at the site of the former Taylor Apartments.
The old apartment building was demolished in 2022. City leaders used funding from the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative and the federal government’s American Rescue Plan for the project.
Construction is expected to be finished in 2024.
