Proposal sought for abandoned Troy hospital

News

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The City of Troy is seeking proposals for the Leonard Hospital site.

The city voted not to turn it into an affordable housing complex.

The hospital has stood vacant for about two decades and has become a popular spot for vandals and trespassers, some of whom have become injured.

The deadline to submit a proposal is January 31.

The city plans to demolish the abandoned hospital sometime next year.
