ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Albany police say two men were charged Wednesday with possession of three loaded handguns and a large quantity of marijuana.On Wednesday, April 6, Albany detectives carried out a search warrant at Izaiah Cox’s apartment in Albany as part of an ongoing investigation. During the search, detectives say they found a loaded .45 caliber handgun, a loaded 9mm handgun and a .357 caliber handgun, as well as a large quantity of marijuana. Police say Iziah Cox was not present, but Kaya Cox, 31, was inside the apartment at the time of the search, and was taken into custody without incident. On Tuesday, April 19, Albany police arrested Iziah Cox, 28, as part of an active arrest warrant stemming from the original investigation and search warrant at his apartment. The arrest took place near the intersection of Quail Street and Sherman Street in Albany. Both men have been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second and third, and Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the third.
