TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a man was arrested at the Brunswick Walmart for allegedly stealing over $100 of meat.
State Police arrested 53-year-old Danial Lavalley of Troy for Petit Larceny on Tuesday.
Troopers responded to the Brunswick Walmart for a report of a man trying to steal meat.
Lavalley was seen by store employees putting several types of meat in his shopping cart, which he then covered with plastic bags. Police say he left the store with the meat and was located in the parking lot by Troopers.
Officials say he took $135 worth of meat.
Lavalley was taken into custody and processed at the Brunswick barracks. He was issued an Appearance Ticket and released. Lavalley is scheduled for court on a later date.
