NYS considers prescribing short-term painkillers


ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York lawmakers are considering new legislation to help fight the statewide opioid addiction crisis.

The new legislation would limit the amount of prescription opioid drugs patients can get at one time. Patients would only be able to get only five days worth of short term prescription painkillers.
