Allison Mack pleads guilty in NXIVM case

NEW YORK (NEWS10) — Actress Allison Mack, one of the inner-circle members of NXIVM, is pleading guilty Monday morning.

Mack pleaded guilty to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy, including the acts of extortion and forced labor. She faces a maximum of 40 years in prison (20 years on each count).

She along with NXIVM founder Keith Raniere and others were facing federal charges involving the alleged cult.

Mack is the third defendant to plead guilty ahead of the trial expected to start later this month.

She will be sentenced on September 11, 2019.
