Bill would lower threshold for hunting while intoxicated

NY Capitol News

The threshold for hunting while intoxicated could soon change.

The New York State Legislature has now passed a measure to lower the legal blood-alcohol content threshold from 0.10 percent to 0.08 percent. That is the same threshold for the state’s driving and boating while intoxicated laws.

The Senate passed the legislation Wednesday, a day after it was approved in the Assembly. It now goes to Governor Cuomo’s desk.
