North Country Report: New courts open for a sunny day in Crandall Park

News

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Pickleball is in season at Crandall Park.

Newly-modeled pickleball and racketball courts were in use Friday as the temperature climbed up to around 70 degrees. Nearby, an also-new basketball court still waits for hoops, but some used the court as the perfect place to get in some skateboard practice.

Pickleball has been a popular sport in the Queensbury area since 2017, when a court was built at Jenkinsville Park.
