Ignoring the latest iPhone system upgrade? You may want to reconsider.

That’s because iOS 12.2 includes 51 security fixes. One of the most notable tune-ups prevents malicious applications from accessing your phone’s microphone and recording your surroundings. It also pauses your FaceTime calls when you leave the app. Other fixes involve short message service hacking and phone memory. 

Concerns over privacy were addressed during the tech giant’s press event earlier this week where they unveiled their new TV streaming services.
