CDC says flu deaths rise to 2100

(NEWS10) — The Center for Disease Control reports found an estimated 2100 people died from the flu virus this season.

That is 300 more than last week. The deaths include three more children in the past week.

The CDC says there have now been 22 pediatric flu deaths in this season which began at the end of September.

The CDC released their new numbers Friday.
