FONDA, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a Montgomery County man is accused of shooting a bull on his property.
Authorities say on May 20 deputies arrested Robert Rusnica for criminal mischief in the second degree, a felony, following the investigation. They say Rusnica allegedly shot a Herford bull with a 30-30 rifle after the bull had wandered on his property.
The bull was eventually located back at the owners pasture with a gunshot wound to his head. Police say the bull had to be put down as a result of its injuries.
Officials say Rusnica was arraigned in the Town of Mohawk Court and remanded to jail on $1,500 cash of $3,000 bond.
