SCHENECADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Mental Health Association of New York is teaming up with Schenectady County Community College to host mental health first aid training.

Studies show more than one in five American adults will have a mental health problem in any given year. To help that, 30 local citizens will be trained to better identify, understand, and respond to signals of mental illness.

The Mental Health Association of New York hopes to train as many as 750 people in our area over the next three years.
