‘Math Sprints’: Local students face off in active math competition

News

Organized by Albany District Links women’s group, students at Arbor Hill Elementary School competed in a game to improve their math skills.

Called ‘Math Sprints,’ the competition is designed to help students improve scores on New York standardized testing, while making math fun in the process.

As part of the race, winning teams will receive trophies and all participants will receive prizes.

According to Albany District Links President Dawn Ray, it has been beneficial for all students to get them engaged and excited about math.
