Man facing murder charge in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A murder indictment has been unsealed in Albany in connection with the shooting death of a man on Clinton Avenue.

Police say Waverly Pleasant shot and killed Alonzo Garay-Cochea inside a basement apartment back in February.

Pleasant is also charged with possessing an illegal handgun. He’s facing two felonies in this case.
