WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. (WETM) – Woodstock 50 co-founder Michael Lang says that tickets for the anniversary event are expected to go on sale within the next week to 10 days.
Lang and principal partner Gregory Peck told Q104.3 New York’s Jim Kerr Rock and Roll Morning Show that the event will go on after a court ruled that former financier Dentsu Aegis could not unilaterally cancel the festival.
Lang added that a new production company has come aboard, but he can not yet announce which company that is.
After Superfly pulled out as the lead production company, CID is believed to have stepped up their role in the production of the festival.
Schuyler County manager Tim O’Hearn tells 18 News that the county still welcomes the festival and that the permit application is still open.

Woodstock 50 is scheduled to take place August 16-18 at Watkins Glen International.
