SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – New York State Police arrested a woman they say shook her 1-month-old baby.
Prior to the arrest, police say they spoke with personnel from the Department of Social Services and the mother.
Kayla Smith was charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance. She is due back in court later this month.
